Gibraltar Tour

Our Standard Tour of Gibraltar is a very popular option for day trippers and cruise-line visitors who stop at Gibraltar port for a short period of time with very few hours free, but still want to have the best experience of the culture and heritage of the Rock of Gibraltar.  The Standard Tour Package will take you on pit stops to the most famous Gibraltar Attractions giving you the best experience possible.

Our local and bilingual tour guides will provide you with a full guided tour in English and/or Spanish, telling you all about the History of Gibraltar and the Gibraltar Attractions you will be visiting. If you do not understand any of these languages, please contact us at Gibraltar Tours, and we will see if we can make any special arrangements for you.

The first stop will be at The Pillars of Hercules at the very entrance of the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. According to Greek Mythology, the Pillars of Hercules were created when Hercules broke the mountain that connected Africa to Europe. At this first stop you will be able to enjoy the magnificent views overlooking the Straits of Gibraltar and the Mountains of the North African Coast.

Further up the Rock you will be taken to one the most beautiful natural wonders of this popular Gibraltar Tour, the St Michael’s Cave. This Gibraltar Tour will allow you an experience that is mesmerising and almost hypnotic in an atmosphere that is unique to this cave, with an immersive light and sound show.

After this natural beauty, follows the impressive 400 metres above sea level Gibraltar Skywalk. This is an impressive Gibraltar attraction with a glass-bottomed platform that juts out from the top of the famous Rock of Gibraltar, offering visitors breathtaking views of the surrounding area.

You will then be introduced to the legendary Gibraltar Barbary macaques, known as the only wild monkey population in Europe. The Gibraltar Barbary macaques on the Rock of Gibraltar are famous for their unique behaviour and their close interactions with humans. However, always be aware of the recommended safety guidelines given by Gibraltar Tours,  when interacting with these monkeys.

Last stop but not least, you will have the opportunity to visit The Great Siege Tunnels of Gibraltar. A system of tunnels that were carved out of the limestone rock in the late 18th century during the Great Siege of Gibraltar.

If you have any questions or would like to have more information about this Guided Tour with Gibraltar Tours guide, or any other matters related to your visit to the Rock of Gibraltar, please do not hesitate to contact us.
